IKONS: music and sculpture
An innovative piece of music, created by George Lewis using specially created software, is integrated with a large array of Eric Metcalfe sculptures. Visitors literally create the work from their presence in the space.
After a brief talk with Lewis and Metcalfe, flutist Ellen Waterman [and electronic improvisor Damon Holzborn] will interact with the installation, performing, in a sense, with the piece.
