Downtown Guelph

Directions to Guelph
From Toronto / points east
Take Hwy 401 West to exit 299 (Brock Road). Turn right (north) off the ramp. Continue straight on that road for 15-20 minutes into Guelph. It becomes Gordon Street. Just after you cross the river, turn right onto Wellington St. Turn left onto Wyndham Street South (fire station on the corner). That takes you to downtown Guelph.
From Cambridge / points west
Take Hwy 401 East to exit 295. Go north on Hwy 6 (Hanlon Expressway). Exit right (east) on Wellington St. Turn left onto Wyndham Street South (there’s a fire station on the corner). That takes you to downtown Guelph.
From Kitchener-Waterloo
Take Hwy 7 East (Victoria Street in Kitchener). After entering Guelph, turn right onto the Hanlon Expressway, which is still Hwy 7. Exit at Wellington St. (still Hwy 7 E.) and turn left off ramp (east). Turn left on Wyndham Street South (fire station on the corner). That takes you to downtown Guelph.
From Elora/Fergus / points north
Take Hwy 6 South into Guelph. This turns into Woolwich Street in town. Keep going straight. The corner with Hakim Optical and Speedy Muffler is a weird intersection, nicknamed the Five Points. You stay straight and the name of the road changes to Norfolk Street. At the corner where the public library is located, turn left onto Quebec Street. The name of that street is Paisley if you turn right, but you want left to go downtown. Sorry for any confusion about the irregular street names!
From Eramosa/Erin
Take Hwy 24 South, which is also known as County Road 124. That road turns into Eramosa Road as you come into town. Stay straight and it takes you directly into downtown Guelph.
From Rockwood
Take Hwy 7 West straight into Guelph. This road turns into York Road once you hit the city. It will make a 90 degree right hand turn (no lights) and at that point it changes its name to Wyndham Street South. Go straight past the Fire Station at Wellington St. to get into downtown.
