Saxophonist Jakob Durst and multi-instrumentalist Josh Collesso are two of Guelph’s most committed young musicians. They play in Valet, a quartet regularly featured at Manhattans in Guelph’s South end, as well as the Guelph Youth Jazz Ensemble, under the direction of Brent Rowan (with whom Jakob studies privately as well). Both attend Centennial CVI where they playing in ensembles directed by Jeff Daniels. The Guelph Jazz Festival is delighted to feature these talented young players in an intimate duo concert at the downtown branch of our Premiere Sponsor, TD Canada Trust.
