The 2022 Guelph Jazz Festival, 15-18 September, was an enormous success, featuring 38 performances by groups totalling hundreds of world-class artists from the regional, national, and international fields of creative music. Beautiful weather made a return to free outdoor programming, GJF in Market Square –– including the amazing Friday Night Street Music Party ––, a joy for the thousands of attendees who flocked there. Meanwhile, GJF in the Parks brought exceptional performances to parts of our city where little live music gets presented otherwise.
The Artistic and General Direction as well as the Board of Directors want to deliver an enormous THANK YOU to the artists, attendees, volunteers, staff, community partners, sponsors, and public funders who made this special event possible.
The festival was very festive indeed, and the GJF is thrilled to share in this feeling with everyone involved. It demonstrated, once again, how much live music adds to our lives, and reaffirms the GJF’s commitment to presenting it for Guelph residents and the many visitors who attend the event.
