The Emmitt Leacock Quartet

A native of Guelph, ON, Emmitt Leacock is a percussionist, producer and vocalist who is immersed in all sectors of the local art community. His diverse inspiration is rooted in the work of jazz greats, hip hop and the music of his Caribbean heritage. In fall of 2022 he began a Bachelor of Arts in music at the University of Guelph, and anticipates furthering his studies after he graduates. 

Leacock’s primary instrument of study and performance is the drum kit, but he is also an accomplished producer and lyricist having released solo projects and collaborations.

On September 15 he’s joined by his friends and frequent collaborators Max DeGroot, Kennedy Shaw, Abby Hegmans to form The Emmitt Leacock Quartet.
